FIRST Team 16, Bomb Squad, was founded in 1996. It is a community robotics team that empowers students and equips them with real skills to succeed in life. Since our founding, we have won 22 regionals, received 57 awards, and earned 35 blue banners. However, we had only been to the World Finals, Einstein, twice in team history. After 13 years, we changed that, bringing us to a solid 3 Einstein appearances. This made us 22nd in the world for the most Einstein appearances, out of over 10,000 teams. Bomb Squad finished 5th in the entire world this year, and it is all due to the hard work, time, and dedication of our students and mentors, but it would never have been possible without the support of our community.
